Ruth qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and achieved her Masters Degree in law in the same year. She became a partner at Parker Bird Gardner Solicitors in 2004.

Ruth has expertise in all areas of family law, and particular experience in care proceedings / residence and contact issues / removal of a child from the jurisdiction / divorce financial consequences arising from the breakdown of marriage / civil partnerships and co-habitation

Ruth also has expertise in probate law and deals with all matters surrounding estate administration, including will drafting and lasting powers of attorney.

Ruth also speaks French and Italian.
