Sharron first joined the practice in 1990 and became a Partner in 1993. She has nearly 20 years experience in all aspects of family law, specialising in private client work in the following areas:-

• Divorce and Finances
• Civil Partnerships
• Cohabitation and Separation
• Residence and Contact disputes

Sharron is also an accredited member of Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitor Family Law Association - SFLA) and in January 2002 became an accredited Specialist in Financial Provision and Children. She was the first person in Huddersfield to gain such an accreditation. As a member of Resolution Sharron practices in accordance with their codes of conduct and will actively promote a constructive and, non-confrontational approach in dealing with your case.

She is also a trained collaborative lawyer and one of the few lawyers in the Huddersfield area to provide such a service and is at the forefront in promoting and developing this new alternative way of resolving matrimonial disputes between parties outside of the court process.

Alternatively of course, should you find yourself already in the midst of court proceedings for whatever reason, Sharron would be able to assist and advise you on the merits of your case and will steer you through the court process, including representation at a contested final hearing.
