The Immigration Rules provide for foreign nationals applying for entry clearance to enter the U.K. for the purpose of further education. The Rules are specific as to the amount of time a person must study each week, the type of establishment where a student is enrolled, together with evidence that the foreign national is able to maintain and accommodate themselves without reliance on public funds in the United Kingdom
The Rules also provide for individuals who wish to enter the U.K. as a prospective student to make further enquiries as to the appropriate course of education they wish to pursue.
